Fatty Breakfast = Put Bomb in the Heart

Jakarta, eating the wrong breakfast time effect not only appears short term, but also in the next few years. Breakfast with fatty foods, for example, the body is like a ticking time bomb threats at any time can 'blow up' the heart.

Various studies have so far proved that fatty foods can increase the risk of atheroschlerosis or narrowing of the arteries. This effect did not appear suddenly, but gradually and only take effect in a few years.

However, the development of blood vessels constriction process can be observed from 2 hours after eating fatty foods. This is consistent with the results of a recent study at the University of Montreal, who showed that the arteries can be damaged just by eating junk food once.

Separately, Dr. Todd Anderson of the University of Calgary are also doing research with a similar result. Breakfast with fatty foods in the study were also impacted directly into the blood vessels, which over time can harm the heart.

Dr. Todd based his conclusion is based on observation or Velocity Time Integral VTI showing the number of blood flow in the hand. The higher the value, means more blood flowing through his veins and that means sufficiently elastic to dilated or stretched.

Experiments on volunteers showed that breakfast sandwich containing 900 calories and 50 grams of fat can lower the value of VTI by 15-20 per cent. That means the less blood flow, which means that there is fat accumulation began making hard dilated blood vessels.

"I would not say not to eat a sandwich. But that's it you can see how the body shape of fat deposits in the walls of arteries," said Dr. Anderson, who is also an investigator of the Heart and Stroke Foundation, as quoted by the Daily Mail, Friday (2 / 11/2012).
