Fat but healty

WEIGHT ideal body would be a dream of all people. When fat can cause excessive aka the owners feel insecure and threatened his health.

The dangers of obesity is opposed to some experts. One of them disclosed Emeritus Professor of Clinical Biochemistry University of Surrey Dr Vincent Marks. "The obesity epidemic exaggerated," Marks said as quoted by Associated Press recently.

Marks was one of the experts who doubted the threat from obesity. They say the dangers of obesity are mixed and little evidence that being fat causes diseases such as high blood pressure, heart disorders, and cancer.

Of course this statement is contrary to the doctors over the years, obesity has been blamed for conditions like diabetes, which can lead to heart disease, kidney and nerve. In fact, the evidence also said cancer associated with increased body weight.

"The evidence linking obesity to diabetes and cardiovascular disease is very strong. Diabetes type 2 is rarely experienced by people who are not obese," said Dr. James Hill, director of the Center for Human Nutrition at the University of Colorado.

However, experts who oppose say, there is no danger of data being fat. Eric Oliver, author of Fat Politics and a political science professor at the University of Chicago, asserted there was no causal relationship convincing.

Blaming obesity for diabetes and heart attacks, according to Oliver, is like blaming lung cancer on bad breath rather than on smoking. He said that weight gain can be a distraction, compared to other factors such as exercise, diet or genetic predisposition to certain diseases more difficult to measure than weight.

Like the British government warned of almost half of its society will be obese by 2050.

According to experts who doubt that threat, the main problem is too many people who are considered obese, together with the condition of obesity or overweight.

"Being in a degraded condition is not a health disadvantage. Some people who are overweight may not look svelte, but they are in healthy condition," said Marks.

As defined by the World Health Organization or the World Health Organization (WHO), someone who has a body mass index or body mass index greater than 25 considered overweight. Then, the person who figures to excess body mass index of 30, categorized as large obesity. Some experts agree, the categorization is not perfect.
